Improved confidence, persistence, and tolerance

I just wanted to send a little note to thank you for the care Alex and Lindsay provide for our son. He never could have transitioned into school with Alex’s help. She has helped him so much with his confidence, persistence, and tolerance. We are totally blown away by his improvement in on demand sounds in such a short time with Lindsay and her creative approaches to help him. You can just see all over him that he understands that she is going to help him talk. His willingness to try with her is something he was very hesitant to do with any of us before. He is making SO many more sounds during sessions now. Both therapists are just doing so much for his self confidence.

Both have been so generous and patient with me and all my questions. Just wanted to thank Family First for all you do! ”

Truly cares about your child

“As a Momma of a boy DX’d with Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), I knew we would be attending ALOT of speech therapy. Over the past 5 years, we have had pricey private sessions at a children’s hospital (All Children’s John Hopkins), small group speech therapy at a public school, small group/private lessons at a local university (USF), a speech therapy summer camp, and private lessons at two different independent therapist offices. Comparing all of these venues, our private lessons at Family First Therapy with Danielle Reed M.S. CCC-SLP were A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and the best experience. The assessment and treatment were spot on. When one goal was reached, the next goal was cued up quickly. My son made more progress in one school year than he had in the two years prior. The best part is Danielle truly cares about your child and becomes a partner with you. If you are in the St. Pete area and are looking for an SLP, I highly recommend contacting Family First Therapy.”

Absolutely wonderful!

“She worked with my son after he had surgery for his tongue tie. We had his speech evaluation done at John Hopkins and were told that we were looking at a minimum of 1 year of speech therapy. I ended up taking my son to Family First Therapy where Danille worked with him twice a week. With therapy and lots of practice at home, my son finished speech in about 4 months. My son’s speech is PERFECT! I will forever be thankful!”

She has really helped my son progress in what seems to be such a short period of time. She is great with kids and makes speech therapy fun for everyone!”

Most qualified and professional ST which we had.

“She is a very professional, dedicated and sweet person. My daughter improved so much during her sessions with Danielle. I will recommend her service to everybody.”

Was so great with our son.

“He was having trouble saying his name so others would understand and had lost all confidence. I expressed this to Danielle on our first meeting so she worked on this first with him. To see his confidence gain when introducing himself to others was so great. I would recommend her to anyone. She did a great job!”

The best!

“She stole my son’s heart right from the first visit. She is patient and soft. She knows her profession and truly cares about kids. It was always easy to communicate with her, express all my concerns and get answers to all my questions. She never made it feel like it’s a lesson to learn for my son, she played with him as if he was her own and slowly but surely helped him find his voice. We all miss her! I definitely recommend Danielle Reed as a speech pathologist! She is great!”
